My name is Yasmin and I am a Professional Newborn Photographer in the Berkshire area specialising in newborn photography, baby photography and maternity photography.
As parents we are always told to "Enjoy every second. They grow so fast."
It's true!
As a mum to 3 beautiful children, it's as if I blinked and the time has slipped through my fingers. I now reflect and wish I had photos of their tiny toes and adorable rolls when they were newborns. Here at Starspeckled Hearts Photography, we understand that time and money are hard to come by when you're expecting a new little life. But we also know that looking back, we would give almost anything to have images that locked those moments in time forever. Our sessions are afforable and suited to any budget.
We differ from a lot of other newborn photographers in that we offer newborn sessions from birth all the way up to 8 weeks of age. So if you have missed out on capturing the tiny newborn stage, please don't worry - we're here to help! We have years of experience in working with slightly "older" newborn babies and can still very much achieve that classic newborn look once baby is past the 2 week mark.

How to Book your Newborn Photographer in Berkshire
I get a lot of questions about the booking process, but the one question I am asked most often is, "when should I book my newborn photography session?".
My answer to this is always the same -as far in advance as possible! I take a limited number of newborn sessions each month, so I recommend booking early in your 2nd trimester, ideally just after your 20 week scan. I book up early and always fully book my diary.
I typically schedule my newborn sessions on weekdays starting at around 9am. Most of my clients are on maternity and paternity leave around that time, so there’s more flexibility.
It’s not uncommon for newborns to make their appearance much earlier (or later) than your due date. I’ve had mums go as early as 5 weeks and as late as 3 weeks. This is why we won't get a date set for your session until baby has made their appearance.
Preemie newborn sessions are typically scheduled as close to the original due date as possible. This gives them time to continue doing all the growing and developing they would have done inside the womb.
The booking process itself is very straight forward; once you have decided you would like to book me as your photographer, we'll secure your session in my diary with a booking fee that is then deducted from the total cost of your session. We'll then wait for the arrival of your little one and once they've made their appearance, we'll get a date and time set that suits you.
