Meet Theo - 11 weeks old with the most amazing full head of hair! He was so full of beaming smiles and giggles - I loved being able to finally meet him and have a catch up with his parents! Keep scrolling for more photos from Theo's Little Smiler session.

Prior to the session, I always give parents the option of choosing a few colours they would like to include. His parents decided on browns and earthy tones - which are some of my favourite colours to use for boys.

Theo came by my garden studio in Aldershot, Hampshire with his lovely mummy and daddy - they had booked a Bump to Baby session and had a newborn session booked in, but due to lockdown we weren't able to get it scheduled until I had reopened the studio. But baby Theo is the best example of how you can still get AMAZING photos, despite missing the newborn stage.

Thank you so much for coming to see me, gorgeous baby Theo! Are you looking to book a Little Smiler session?

Little Smiler sessions are best booked from when baby is 8 weeks up to when they are confident sitters. A Little Smiler session would be an excellent option for those that have missed out on a Newborn session. We can style it similar to a newborn session and if baby decides to have a little nap during the session, we can try some of the classic newborn poses. However, most babies will be wide awake and alert at this age, which truly makes for some gorgeous photos - showing off their gummy smiles and big bright eyes!

As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! This is precisely why I wanted to include Little Smiler sessions in my portfolio. Regardless of your baby's age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.

If your baby has already arrived, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings. If you have any questions in regards to my Little Smiler sessions or if you would like to make a booking, please don't hesitate to get in touch either via my contact form here or send me an email at starspeckledphotography@gmail.com and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
