Cake Smash photo sessions are a fabulous and fun way to celebrate your babies first birthday.
I am sure all of my fellow parents out there can relate, when it comes to toddlers, you just never know how it is going to go! There is a very fine line between a giggly, happy baby and total nuclear meltdown! But Teddy was all smiles and giggles for his Space themed Cake Smash & Splash session - the smiles were never ending and the little giggles made my heart happy!

A lot of the time, parents are taken aback by their toddlers reaction to their cake. Some little ones aren't as keen on smashing up their cake as their parents had anticipated! It can be a little overwhelming for a one year old to have a huge cake placed in front of them, to do with as they wish - but Teddy dived straight in!

Are you looking to book a cake smash session for your little one?
My cake smash & splash sessions start with capturing a few shots of your little one in an outfit of your choice (either one picked out of my studio wardrobe or one you've brought yourself). Then we get your little one changed into their cake smash outfit and let them have some fun getting stuck into their cake! Some children are initially not that keen on getting messy and may need a bit of gentle encouragement, others take to it straight away and relish the opportunity to get messy! The final part of the session is a nice, warm bath in my washtub with lots of bubbles.
A Cake Smash & Splash is a fun-packed session and a unique way to commemorate a birthday, whether that be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd birthday!
