Welcome to the world, baby Jenson! He came by my photography studio in Hampshire for his studio newborn session with his mummy and daddy. I had the best time meeting him and getting to know his parents!

I just adore these brown, earthy tones, anyone that has seen my work will know it's one of my absolute favourite colour schemes to work with. And don't they just suit baby Jenson perfectly? I always love to incorporate flowers and greenery in my sessions where possible - and I'm so pleased I got the chance to include some of these beautiful eucalyptus and ferns as part of Jenson's newborn photoshoot!

Did you know that newborn sessions are booked in advance based on your due date? I always advise booking after you've had your 20 week scan, to ensure availability as I only book in a set amount of newborns per month. Sometimes my schedule is too busy to fit people in last minute so its always a good idea to book in advance!
Look at those squishy cheeks! Being a Newborn and Baby photographer is truly amazing, I LOVE my job and I sometimes have to pinch myself to believe this is really what I do for a living - there's nothing in the world I'd rather do. Newborn photography is where my heart lies and I genuinely adore each and every baby that comes to visit me in the studio ♡
Did you know that my Newborn sessions include sibling and family images at no extra cost? With this being said, these are entirely optional and for those who aren't as keen to get in front of the camera, there are other ways in which we can include you in your little one's session!
I love capturing the natural connection between new parents and their bundle of joy - a brilliant way to convey this is by using parents hands. The image above is one of my absolute favourite images to create and we include this in almost every newborn photoshoot!

I really enjoyed setting up for this newborn session. Jenson's parents had requested neutrals to match the decor of his nursery.
I always take requests for colour schemes before the session - I love how it adds that little personal touch to each and every gallery, no two are ever the same ♡

Are you looking to book a Newborn Session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 2 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
If you're interested in booking your newborn session with me, I suggest getting in touch no later than after your 20 week scan. If your baby is already here, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings.
