Welcoming a baby into this world is nothing short of a miracle and very likely the most amazing thing you'll ever do. So why not preserve that time with a Newborn Photography Session, by letting me capture real moments between you and your baby that you'll cherish for the rest of your life? Little Baby Yuvaan was just over 5 weeks old when he came to see me for his studio newborn session in Aldershot, Hampshire. His mummy and daddy had booked a Bump to Baby session with me, so had already been to see me for their Maternity session - I was so excited to meet their brand new little man!

As your newborn grows, it can be easy to forget how little they used to be. Before you know it, they're crawling, walking, off to school and eventually off to start families of their own. That is why I love these detailed close-up shots, one of my favourites is of baby's hands with mummy or daddy's hands for comparison. There's something so delicate about a newborns tiny dimpled hands and it's one of those little details I think is worth capturing.

Are you looking to book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 2 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
