Twin Cake Smash sessions! Some people may cringe at the thought at not just one but TWO babies covered in cake and icing, but I'm not one to scare easy! I absolutely adore photographing twins, whether that be for newborn, little sitter or cake smash sessions. Turning one is always a big celebration and what better way to celebrate than by demolishing a delicious cake in style! Maryann and Thomas' mum chose a Minnie and Mickey Mouse themed session, incorporating the colours red, black and yellow.

Part 1 - The Portrait Session We had the BEST time for Maryann and Thomas' Cake Smash session and these little outfits that mum brought from home are so sweet! Matching outfits are almost a must for twins - these spanish styled outfits are absolutely adorable and also fit the colours of the setup beautifully.
Part 2 - The Cake Smash!
The twins brought a very impressive cake with them for their session! This cake was absolutely beautiful, it's not every day I get to see a stunning three-tier cake in the studio - in fact, I think this may be the very first ever! It was a one of a kind, bespoke cake and it looked perfect with the cake smash setup and decor.

Part 3 - Splish, Splash, Splosh
Cake smash sessions can get very messy, very quickly! So naturally, bath time is the perfect way to clean up whilst having fun. The twins loved splashing about in the bath and they were just brilliant throughout.

Are you looking to book a cake smash session for your little one?
My cake smash & splash sessions start with capturing a few shots of your little one in an outfit of your choice (either one picked out of my studio wardrobe or one you've brought yourself). Then we get your little one changed into their cake smash outfit and let them have some fun getting stuck into their cake! Some children are initially not that keen on getting messy and may need a bit of gentle encouragement, others take to it straight away and relish the opportunity to get messy! The final part of the session is a nice, warm bath in my washtub with lots of bubbles.
A Cake Smash & Splash is a fun-packed session and a unique way to commemorate a birthday, whether that be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd birthday!
